A new iteration of the work 'A Knife is a Bloody Metaphor' is currently in development for the exhibition 'L'Effet de serre' at Abbatiale Bellelay, curated by Sylvain Menétrey. The artwork is based on a virtual physics simulation depicting a sphere falling to the floor and shattering. The initial version of the piece was exhibited at Bureaucracy Studies in 2020, where each shard was cast in bronze. For this new iteration, the sphere, and consequently each shard, will be scaled up by a factor of 5. The installation will be situated within the sanctuary of the deconsecrated church, beneath the remaining pieces of its historic frescoes.
